This brand-new series of outdoor sessions will bring spectacular free DJ events as well as live performances to Propyard’s ever-evolving outdoor space.

The opening event will take place this Saturday 6 August from 14:00 till 23:00.

Celebrating Jamaican Independence Day, part one of the Summer Social will see the legendary Musical Youth presenting a set stacked with well-loved anthems.

Summer Social, Part One is a free ticketed event, head to the event page to grab yours.

Originating in Birmingham, British-Jamaican reggae group Musical Youth are best known for their worldwide number one, ‘Pass the Dutchie’. The track made the band a household name around the world and was recently featured in the Netflix hit show, Stranger Things.

Also on the bill is Horseman, an artist renowned on the scene for their work with luminaries such as Tippa Irie, Gregory Isaacs and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a plethora of local artists.

Attendees can expect a day jam-packed with talent from the world of Dub, Reggae and Dancehall in what looks to be a stellar celebration of Jamaican culture. Visitors can expect mouth-watering Caribbean food from Agnes Spencer’s Amazing Jamaican Cuisine as well as resident food vendors, Jafra and Pizzarova.

Each edition of Propyard’s Summer Social series will welcome both children and dogs up until 20:00, making it a truly family-friendly affair with outdoor seating and undercover canopy areas dotted around the beautiful Propyard Courtyard.

Summer Social will take place every Saturday throughout August with dazzling acts such as Crazy P, Scratch Perverts and DJ Format all appearing. Away from the music, Part 4 will see a day of family activities including a drag queen workshop, crafts and much more.
