Transgressive art-rock meets angular post-punk at the renowned Harbourside venue.

The Louisiana are gearing up to host a triple-header of emerging Bristol acts this month, with Erotic Secrets of Pompeii, Drag and Bible Club set to perform live on Thursday 16 June.

Armed with a back catalogue containing "some of the most chaotic, disconcerting, fun and positively danceable music of the year" (Independent Music News), the headliners are up there with the most intriguing bands coming out of the city right now.

Tickets for the event are on sale now - find out more and get yours here.

Made up of Thomas Hawtin (vocals), Tom Hackwell (guitar/synth), Sean Jones (guitar), Julian Port (bass) and Alex Auld (drums), Erotic Secrets of Pompeii play 'wild and weird' apocalyptic lounge music.

The band's music is inspired by - and chock full of - grotesque imagery and vivid symbolism, drawing from a broad spectrum of artists across different mediums.

Erotic Secrets of Pompeii have received airplay on BBC Radio 6, Radio X and BBC Radio Bristol, and have won a handful of accolades, most notably The Bristol Gig Guide's 2021 Best Local Band title, and Best Band at the 2020 LWM Awards.

Arriving at The Louisiana for a headline show later this month, the five-piece will be supported by two fellow Bristol bands: glam-infused electro-pop duo Drag, and post-punk outfit Bible Club.

Head to The Louisiana's website to get your hands on advance tickets and find out what else is coming up at the venue during the spring/summer season.
