Posted on: 27 May 2022

The all-conquering Manchester collective are back in town for an eagerly-anticipated live show.

Celebrated hip-hop production team The Mouse Outfit are gearing up for their latest Bristol show, set to perform live at The Old Market Assembly tonight (Friday 27 May).

Having played across some of the city's best-loved live venues over the years, the collective will arrive armed with a catalogue of new material, having released a steady stream of singles throughout 2020 and 2021.

Last-minute tickets for the show are still available in limited numbers - find out more and get yours via Headfirst.

Noted for their “masterful blend of funk, hip-hop, and jazz” in the Manchester Evening News, The Mouse Outfit are widely regarded as one the UK's very best hip-hop exports.

Their style is influenced by a number of genres and sounds, and more than 100 artists have recorded music and performed live under The Mouse Outfit moniker over the years.

Over the course of more than a decade in music, the collective have remained independent and retained their DIY hip-hop sensibilities. They've released three critically-acclaimed albums, most recently 2018's Jagged Tooth Crook, which featured input from the likes of IAMDDB and KinKai.

The Mouse Outfit's vibrant live performances have won them an army of fans globally, combining razor-sharp lyricism with varying live musical arrangements, often featuring full brass sections.

Tonight, the crew will headline with a 90-minute performance at The Old Market Assembly, before handing over to Bristol-based selector DJ Habitus to take the crowd through to the early hours.

A handful of general release tickets for the event, kicking off at 22:00, remain on sale and can be found here.
