Jonny Mintaka to headline Worm Disco Club's next Crofters Rights party
Posted on: 23 May 2022The Bristol-based musician and DJ is taking the reigns for the latest edition of Worm Disco Club's residency.
Worm Disco Club are poised to take over The Crofters Rights once again this weekend, arriving on Saturday 28 May as part of their popular monthly residency at the Stokes Croft venue.
Assuming headlining duties this time around, Bristol-based artist Jonny Mintaka will be armed with a vibrant range of sounds spanning highlife, Benga, Afrobeat and much more.
Advance tickets are on sale now and can be found here, with a limited number set to be made available on the door.
Worm Disco Club have emerged as one of Bristol's best-loved party brands in recent years, hosting an array of live artists and DJs across a diverse portfolio of events across the city and beyond.
The team set up an in-house record label, Worm Discs, in 2020, pushing Bristol's ever-evolving contemporary jazz sound by featuring the likes of Run Logan Run, China Bowls, Ishmael Ensemble and more.
Worm Disco Club's residency at The Crofters Rights launched in July 2021, and has seen an array of renowned local artists headline a vibrant series of parties, taking place on the final Saturday of every month.
Next up, Jonny Mintaka will take the crowd on a sonic journey across the African continent, traversing a wide range of sounds, styles and influences.
As always, headliner Jonny will be backed up by a trio of Worm Disco Club residents, whose crates are bursting with club-ready releases sourced from all corners of the globe.
