The popular Bristol venue have partnered with UK disaster support charity The Ark to put together a vital fundraising series.

The Louisiana have confirmed a lineup for their second Ukraine Benefit Gig, set to take place at the BS1 venue on Thursday 28 April.

Organised in partnership with The Ark, a charitable initiative founded during the first UK lockdown, all proceeds from this week's gig will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) as part of their Ukraine humanitarian appeal.

Tickets for the show, taking place from 18:00 to 23:00, are on sale now. Find out more and get yours via Headfirst

Following on from a hugely successful opening night that hosted performances from The Kramps, Miss Kill, Droogs and more, The Louisiana is gearing up to host its latest Ukraine fundraiser this week.

Another exciting showcase of homegrown talent will feature futuristic outfit The Brackish, Bristol punks CUFFS, John E Vistic's Rock n Roll Soundsystem, The Outlines (featuring Bristol gigging legend Big Jeff) and explosive three-piece, Martyrials.

All proceeds will go directly to the DEC, and will then be allocated to appropriate organisations and initiatives working to support those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

General release tickets for The Louisiana's second Ukraine Benefit Gig are available at a base price of £7.50, but those who can afford to do so are encouraged to give more on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Alongside live performances, attendees can enjoy a raffle draw on the night, with band merch, physical music and other prizes up for grabs.

For more information on the Ukraine Benefit Gig Volume 2, to pick up your tickets, or to find out more about the Disasters Emergency Committee, visit Headfirst or head to the DEC website.
