Full lineups revealed for Motion New Year's Eve & New Year's Day parties

Posted on: 08 Dec 2021

Celebrate the turn of the year in the company of some of the world's most in-demand DJs.

Motion have revealed a full lineup for their 2021/22 New Year's Eve and New Year's Day celebrations, completing two days and nights of innovative electronic music to see out the year and ring in the next.

Tickets have already been flying out for the venue's flagship New Year's Eve party, hosted by drum & bass frontrunners The Blast & Hospitality.

Over in the Marble Factory, esteemed DJ Annie Mac will be headlining alongside DJ, producer and label boss Mella Dee as well as BBC Radio tastemaker Jaguar.

The following night, on Saturday 1 January, Motion will be welcoming the likes of Jayda G, Todd Terje, Young Marco and a cast of resident DJs to Avon Street to kickstart 2022 with a bang.

Motion's New Year's track record is bigger and better than most, having hosted a long list of truly unforgettable nights headlined by some of the world's best-loved DJs in recent years.

There was a huge, gaping nightlife-shaped hole in the calendar when we made the transition from 2020 to 2021 a year ago, but thankfully Bristol clubs are back in action this time around.

The Blast and Hospitality are arguably two of the biggest names in UK drum & bass right now, known for putting together some of the genre's biggest events.

As expected, their latest lineup is stacked full of heavy-hitters sourced from across the bass-driven music scene, including Kings of the Rollers, Benny L, Bristol's Koast and many, many more.

Celebrated radio presenter and DJ Annie Mac truly needs no introduction in the UK, having spent more than 15 years flying the flag for British electronic music on the airwaves and at venues around the world.

A firm favourite among fans of a broad spectrum of genres, attendees can be sure Annie will be bringing the heat to celebrate the New Year in style, joined at The Marble Factory on 31 December by esteemed guests Mella Dee and fellow Radio 1 mainstay Jaguar.

The following night, hard-hitting DJ and producer Jayda G will be accompanied by Italo specialist Todd Terje, making an eagerly-anticipated return to the Westcountry alongside fellow headliner Young Marco.

Most of us have already got our New Year's plans in place by now, but if you're one of the few that are still stuck on where to go, we guarantee you Motion will be a good bet.

Tickets for both their New Year's Eve (31 December) and New Year's Day parties are on sale now but are moving fast - find out more and get yours on the venue's website.
