Posted on: 25 Oct 2021

Bristol Beacon’s free, family-friendly festival takes place at the venue this weekend for two days bursting with fun performances and activities for kids and adults alike.

On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October, Hoo-ha! Festival will take place at the Bristol Beacon with various events that include music and dancing.

The festival is free to attend and is open between 11:00 and 15:00 on Friday and Saturday, head to the event page to find out more.

As always, the event is presenting a stellar line-up that is sure to provide plenty of energy and education on various different stages.

London Rhymes will be bringing their eclectic and inventive musical bonanza inspired by the mad world of parenting to the festival and their amazing tunes, co-written by parents and kids, are sure to get attendees of any age moving.

This year marks Kid Carpet’s return to Bristol after a few years away. The natural showman will be unleashing all the hits from his absurdly fun and interactive family shows – expect heaps of silliness and foot-stomping groove!

Funk Supreme will be bringing their unique brand of music to the Bristol Beacon main stage this year. Their interactive mix of Afro Caribbean and funk and soul beats are sure to be popular.

Junior Jungle’s family rave is back. The world’s funniest MC, Rocky Patch, and DJ, Nick Terrific, - approved by Dick & Dom - will get the whole of Hoo-Ha! Festival dancing.

Ready to soothe parents and kids alike is Bristol’s pair of musician mothers, Popcorn. The pair have collated and arranged songs from family and friends from around the world – taking children's songs to a charming new level.

This eclectic line-up will be joined by an array of fun kids activities including: Scrap Store,  Bakehouse Factory, Let’s Make Art, Rubbish Portraits, Explorer Dome, Conductive Music, Kids Yoga with Linzy Na Nakorn, Vital Beats and Book Island.

Hoo-Ha! Festival’s takeover of the Bristol Beacon looks set to be a weekend filled with entertainment for both kids and adults.
