Don't miss one of the biggest fixtures of the Gallagher Premiership season next weekend at Ashton Gate Stadium.

Bristol Bears are gearing up for the visit of Bath Rugby next weekend, set to host the latest chapter of the two sides' fierce local rivalry at Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday 1 October.

Having endured a disappointing finish to their last Gallagher Premiership campaign despite dominating the league for much of the season, the Bears will be keen to get off to a strong start as they chase that elusive top prize.

Just a handful of tickets remain for their next home fixture against Bath, with several blocks already sold out - find out more and secure your seats here.

Following the removal of coronavirus restrictions on sporting venues nationwide, Premiership rugby fans are faced with their first opportunities to watch their teams live in well over a year.

Despite some optimism following an impressive showing last season, Pat Lam's Bristol Bears endured a disappointing opener to their 2021/22 campaign, losing 26-9 at home to Saracens.

The Bears are now preparing for a trip to the Midlands on Saturday 25 September to face Wasps, before their all-important home derby against Bath the following weekend.

Bath, of course, present a stern challenge themselves, and are no strangers to the challenges of elite-level rugby, having spent more than two decades in the top flight.

They'll be looking to avenge a heavy scoreline from their last visit to Ashton Gate Stadium, crumbling 48-3 when the two sides last met in Bristol back in February.
