The pop-up environment is going out with a bang this bank holiday weekend.

To close a summer of good food and events, Breaking Bread is hosting a festival-style party as their tenancy on The Downs comes to an end.

The project, a collaboration between The Pony & Trap, Bianchis, Team Love, The Love Inn and The Pipe & Slippers, has been hosting numerous highly regarded restaurants and bars in Clifton since April.

Featuring live music, DJs, comedy, kids entertainment, craft stalls, chef demos & workshops, a producers market, talks & panel discussions, and perhaps most important of all, good food, Breaking Bread are going out in style with this weekender.

On-site, the Home Grown team will be cooking up a storm in the Tipis, serving up their take on Surf 'n' Turf - West Country bavette steak & giant North Atlantic prawns alongside 2 additional courses with free bubbles on arrival as a welcome extra.

Their menu will run from 12:00-18:00 Saturday 28 August and 12:00-16:00 Sunday 29 August. Click here to book your table.

Elsewhere, Team Canteen will host food workshops with a selection of renowned Bristol chefs including Larkin Cen, Josh Eggleton, Rob Howell, Ben Harvey and Kalpna Woolf.

91 Ways will be in attendance, hosting family food sessions throughout the weekend.

A stellar cast of local favourites will take care of the soundtrack for the weekend, with a number of high-profile acts in attendance, including Eats Everything, Friendly Records and Felix Joy.

You can find a full list of DJs and live acts here.

The Pergola, the newest addition to Breaking Bread, has booked their favourite acts of the summer to return, curating a line-up of stand-up comedians, musicians, talks & workshops and the infamous Drag Queen Bingo Bristol.

Tickets gain you access to all areas of the site. Doors open from 12:00 on both days, with proceedings coming to a close at 23:00 on Saturday and 22:00 on Sunday. Click here to secure your place at this unmissable event.
