Learn from experienced events professionals during the buildup to Love Saves The Day 2021.

Bristol-based promoters Team Love have joined forces with local non-profit You Produce and Bristol City Council to launch a new training opportunity for 18-25 year-olds looking to break into the events industry.

As part of the Elevate Us initiative, the Love Saves The Day team will be hosting an exclusive pre-show tour of the festival site to outline what it takes to organise and operate the event.

A limited number of places on the tour - taking place from 18:30-20:00 at The Downs festival site on Wednesday 1 September - are available now via Headfirst.

Curated by a team of Bristol producers, the Elevate Us project has been set up to inspire young people and connect them with training opportunities and experience in the events industry.

After close to 18 months of closures and cancellations relating to the coronavirus pandemic events professionals nationwide are entering a long-awaited period of recovery, with an array of renowned festivals and parties set to make a comeback in 2021.

Ready to take over Eastville Park for the first time this September, Love Saves The Day will be coming back with a bang after a year out, returning with Slowthai, Mahalia, Little Simz and an array of acclaimed Bristol-based artists.

The Elevate Us 'Behind The Scenes' tour has been organised as part of Big Team, an initiative from Team Love set up to develop opportunities for young people and promote a more diverse and inclusive workforce in the events industry.

For more information on the tour, or to follow news and updates, reserve your spot on Headfirst or follow Love Saves The Day on Twitter.
