Gig Buddies Bristol and Cymru auction raises thousands
Posted on: 08 Jul 2021The auction, which featured five rare items, raised £3,359.
The funds will be shared between Gig Buddies Bristol and Gig Buddies Cymru - befriending projects that enable and empower people with learning difficulties to enjoy local events by pairing them with a buddy to attend with.
Both organisations aim to improve accessibility to art, music, culture, and sport, making events welcoming to all instead of a privilege afforded to some.
Gig Buddies Bristol is run by the Exchange. You can find more info about the project here.
