Bristol's College Green has been painted with six huge rainbow-coloured hearts to mark the start of this year's LGBTQ+ Pride month.
Painted by Upfest artists as part of the Bristol City Centre BID's #LoveBristol campaign, the installation invites locals to return to the popular park space and catch up with friends in a safe and inclusive setting.
????Sending some love to @BristolPride on College Green today. Head out over the weekend and check out our giant rainbow hearts! Big thanks to @Upfest for your paint skills and to @BristolCouncil for your support. ??????????????????????

Speaking on the unveiling of College Green's #LoveBristol rainbow hearts, Bristol City Centre BID Operations Director Keith Rundle said:
“Bristol Pride starts this weekend and we want to show our support for Bristol as a diverse and inclusive community.
“The giant rainbow hearts are a welcoming symbol of joy for the city centre. It will take all of us working together to recover well from the past 12 months and the hearts are a symbol of that.
“We will be revealing more activities through July in line with the easing of restrictions, inviting people back to the city safely.”
The display follows closely from the installation of Bristol's first rainbow street crossing, painted on Wine Street to celebrate and show solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities.
