The Crofters Rights to host Strummerjam 2021 in support of Music Venue Trust

Posted on: 30 Jun 2021

Don't miss a huge celebration of a musical icon in Stokes Croft this summer.

The Crofters Rights have released a full lineup for this year's Strummerjam, which takes place once a year to celebrate the life and music of late Clash frontman Joe Strummer.

In response to the nationwide impact of the Save Our Venues campaign, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Music Venue Trust as they continue to support grassroots venues across the UK dealing with the fallout from the coronavirus crisis.

Tickets for Strummerjam, taking place on Friday 30 July, are on sale now and can be found here.

After well over a year without restriction-free live events, small venues across Bristol and beyond are expected to finally be able to reopen in full this summer.

The Crofters Rights, located at the heart of Stokes Croft, is one of the city's best-loved venues, hosting everything from big-name live acts to late-night DJ sets and gigs from exciting emerging artists.

This year's Strummerjam lineup will be headlined by legendary Bristol reggae outfit Talisman, with support provided by genre-spanning local band Itinerants and Longwell Records DJs.

Advance tickets for the gig are available for £12 via Headfirst, with a limited number up for grabs on the door.
