The Cloak & Dagger to reopen for outdoor dining on Thursday 15 April

The boutique bar and arts venue are launching a new small-plate menu next week.

Popular Cheltenham Road venue The Cloak & Dagger have confirmed details of their April reopening, set to welcome locals back through their doors for socially distanced outdoor dining from Thursday 15.

Under successive lockdowns and Tier 3 restrictions, the team have been unable to open in any capacity for almost six months.

With strictly limited bookings available, The Cloak & Dagger will be serving up a selection of small plates and light bites in their sheltered outdoor area.

Located a short walk from Stokes Croft, The Cloak and Dagger is certainly one of the most unique venues in central Bristol, home in normal circumstances to everything from live music and magic to creative cocktail menus and a renowned Sunday roast service.

You wouldn't know it from walking by the quirky-looking former tea room, but it's home to two cosy upstairs dining areas, three performance spaces and an outdoor courtyard.

Speaking to 365Bristol in November 2019 just after the bar had opened, owner Jenna Graves said The Cloak and Dagger "has the potential to be absolutely anything", and that the team's main goal was to provide a steady platform for the huge number of performers and creative people in Bristol.

The team have consistently adapted their offering throughout the pandemic, hosting socially distanced events, launching a roast dinner delivery service and even reopening as a pop-up charity shop to raise money for a selection of local organisations.

Like the rest of Bristol's hospitality sector, The Cloak & Dagger are relying on your support as they start the recovery period after such a long period under COVID-related restrictions.

Reservations at The Cloak & Dagger, available from Thursday 15 April onwards, can made via email. For more information on The Cloak & Dagger, or to follow updates in the coming weeks, head to their website or find them on Facebook.
