Smoke & Mirrors are relaunching their virtual magic lessons next month

Give your kids a gift they'll never forget this half term.

Popular live magic and boutique theatre venue Smoke & Mirrors have confirmed they'll be relaunching Magic School, a series of online classes teaching young performers all the tricks of the trade.

A fantastic opportunity for kids to learn magic alongside family members in the comfort of their own homes, the project allows students to build their confidence, learn a new talent and hone their social and motor skills under the guidance of a trained professional.

Magic School lessons are bookable in 45-minute, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 min sessions or a four-hour block. Find out more and book your place here.

Hosted by renowned magician and Smoke & Mirrors owner Mark Bennett, Magic School invites your child to learn every trick - from every angle thanks to a multi-camera setup - and develop a full understanding of how magic works.

The course is designed for children ages six and over with adult supervision, meaning parents, grandparents, siblings or friends can get in on the action and learn a few tricks of their own.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, lessons will be carried out virtually via Zoom, with a view to making the transition to in-person lessons once it's safe to do so.

Lessons are bookable either as individual sessions or in blocks of two or four, and cover everything from starter card tricks to coin magic, sponge ball magic and rope tricks! All the relevant props and equipment will be sent direct to your door in advance.

After each session students will receive a video breaking down each trick and how to practice effectively, allowing your kids to keep on honing their skills as much as they like.

For more information, or to browse booking options, head to the Magic School website.
