Posted on: 12 Oct 2020

Put your knowledge to the test this week at The Cloak & Dagger.

The team behind popular Cheltenham Road bar and venue The Cloak & Dagger have confirmed a date for the first edition of their new Quiz Nights, set to take place twice a month for the remainder of 2020.

Having teased the new events on their Facebook page in late September, The Cloak & Dagger recently revealed they'll be hosting their debut Quiz Night at 19:00 on Thursday 15 October.

Teams can consist of up to six people (as per current coronavirus guidelines), entry costs £2 per person and the winning team takes all.

Extra points will be awarded for the best team name, and there will be a range of mystery prizes up for grabs in the hosts' Bad Prize Bingo.

Inside The Cloak & Dagger.

Opened in October 2019, The Cloak & Dagger is certainly one of the most unique venues in central Bristol, and the perfect spot for a diverse and exciting range of live shows.

You wouldn't know it from walking by the quirky-looking former tea room, but it's home to two cosy upstairs dining areas, three performance spaces and an outdoor courtyard.

Speaking to 365Bristol in November, owner Jenna Graves said The Cloak & Dagger "has the potential to be absolutely anything", and that the team aim to provide a steady platform for the huge number of performers and creative people in Bristol.

Dealt a major blow by the coronavirus outbreak, the gradual return of The Cloak & Dagger's events programme is welcome news for both the venue team and the people that frequent it.

Tables for The Cloak & Dagger's opening Quiz Night are available to book now via the venue's Facebook page. Simply message the team to reserve a spot.
