This weekend: Flipside to launch Sunday Service series

Posted on: 07 Oct 2020

Enjoy craft beers, cocktails and top-notch DJ sets every Sunday at the Whiteladies Road bar.

Flipside Cocktail Club are ready to launch their brand-new Sunday Service series this weekend, serving up a range of food and drinks accompanied by a spirit-lifting mix of funk, soul, disco, hip-hop and more.

The first-ever Sunday Service will see Roasted residents Deli G and Ben Daley go back-to-back from start to finish, providing the soundtrack across two afternoon sessions running from 14:00-17:30 and 18:00-21:45 on 11 October.

Tables of two, four and six are available to book now but are expected to sell out in advance - find out more and get yours here.

Following on from this Sunday's debut event, Flipside will be hosting two more Sunday Services in October before an eagerly-anticipated Day of the Dead Special on 1 November.

Adding to their cosy inside space, Flipside have spruced up their garden area over lockdown, extending it, adding more garden heaters and putting up a festival-style stretch tent to create an intimate outdoor environment.

The skilled bar team will be serving up a stellar range of classic cocktails and unique creations, as well as a varied selection of local beers and ciders from 20 brand-new beer taps.

Sandwich maestros El Jefe Jose Cubanos will also be on hand to provide freshly-made dishes throughout Sunday Service, adding great food to a roster of delicious drinks and a stellar musical lineup.

Tables at Flipside have been set up to ensure social distancing guidelines are met, and other safety measures include mandatory registration to track and trace, table service and a requirement for guests to wear a mask at all times unless seated at a table.
