Bristol trio Dogeyed to play seated show at The Lanes

Posted on: 29 Sep 2020

Catch the band on a Bristol stage for the first time since early March.

Renowned three-piece Dogeyed will be performing live at The Lanes in October, booked as part of a series of seated shows put together by local promoters Gravy Train and BLG.

With support from American-born, Bristol-based vocalist Erica Freas, Dogeyed will be taking the stage on Tuesday 27 October.

Tickets are available in groups of up to four or six people, starting at £20 per table or £5 per person for a full group. Find out more and book yours here.

Initially intended as a solo project, Dogeyed developed into a trio once singer and guitarist Harriet Elder started writing and recording music with Caves drummer Jonathan Minto and bassist Tim Rowing-Parker.

Described by Dogeyed themselves as 'sad lounge music', the band's understated indie-rock sound combines atmospheric, stripped-back acoustics with Elder's emotive vocals.

Off the back of their early-2020 UK tours supporting Slaughter Beach and Rebecca Reinhard, Dogeyed will be headlining The Lanes next month, supported by talented singer-songwriter, Erica Freas.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, The Lanes are operating under a range of new safety guidelines as they tentatively start to bring back their live programming.

Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the venue, the bar team will be operating a contactless delivery service, and attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times unless they're seated at their tables.

Dogeyed's October performance is just one of several seated shows coming up at The Lanes in 2020, with performances from Poisonous Birds, Langkamer, Masca and more on the way in October.

Find a full schedule of events on the venue's Facebook page, or book tickets for Dogeyed & Erica Freas live at The Lanes via Headfirst.
