The weekly street food market is back after six months off due to coronavirus.

Good news, street food fans: Temple Quay Market returns to The Square from Thursday 10 September.

The year-round, weekly market usually boasts more than 15 stalls, specialising in street food from local traders and producers.

After six months off due to coronavirus, the market is returning with the help of social distancing measures.

On Thursday 10 September, Temple Quay Market will start trading again from 11:30 until 14:00.

The market will then run every Thursday; same time, same place.

The market will welcome back its ever-popular traders, including vegan street food business Kabala Kitchen and steak sandwich stall High Steaks.

Other stalls making a comeback include Thai food vendor Niangs Thai Snacks, seafood stand King Fin and homemade dim sum stall Ah-Ma’s Dumplings.

To support social distancing, the market will open at the earlier time of 11:30 (it’s usually noon), and host fewer stalls than usual.

The market will also see wider walkways, a one-way system, and signs to aid a 2-metre distance between shoppers.
