Russell Kane is a multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter.
He’s best known as the host of three series of Live At The Electric, and he makes regular appearances on Live At Apollo and Celebrity Juice.
In 2010, Kane made history back as the first comedian to win both the Edinburgh Award and Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Barry Award in one year.
At Ashton Gate, Kane will be joined by two special guests; comedians Angela Barnes and Charlie Baker.
Described as “brilliantly funny” by Sarah Millican, Angela Barnes won the BBC New Comedy Award back in 2011.
Nowadays, Barnes can be heard on Radio 4’s The News Quiz, and she’s also seen on Mock the Week.
Charlie Baker is a comedian, actor, writer, singer and presenter.
Baker’s made the rounds on top comedy programmes like Channel 4’s The Last Leg, Comedy Gala, and The Superhuman Show, and has enjoyed sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival.

Groups of between four and six can book a table for the event at £100 per table. (So, that works out at around £17 per person for a table of six!)
On the night, the stadium’s Sports Bar will be open for drinks, and popular Bristol chain Pizza Workshop will be serving up… well, pizza.
While the 20:30 sitting has now sold out, there are plenty of tickets left for the 18:00 slot on Saturday 29 August. The show is suitable for ages 15+.
To book, head over to the Ashton Gate website or call 0117 9630 600 (option four).
