Exciting news! The Bristol Farmers' and Producers' Market restarts on Wednesday 23 September.

It'll be the last of the St Nicholas Markets to return, following a temporary hiatus due to COVID-19.

The weekly farmer's and producer's market gives shoppers the chance to buy fresh produce direct from independent producers.

Producers and sellers come from across the city, and they're keen to talk with shoppers in-depth about their goods.

At the award-winning market, you'll find a delicious selection of local goods, from freshly made bread to meat and cheese.

From Wednesday 23 September, the market will start up again weekly on Corn Street and Wine Street, from 09:30 to 14:30.

To keep shoppers and sellers safe, the market will operate with some new safety measures.

Only one customer is allowed at a stall at once, and shoppers must stay two metres away from traders and other customers.

Traders will accept contactless payments only, and shoppers should use hand sanitiser when it's provided.

The number of traders varies from week to week. Head over to the St Nick's Facebook page for updates.

Can't wait until then? Well, you don't have to. St Nicks indoor market is back open Monday to Saturday, from 09:30 to 17:00.

Explore a maze of quirky stalls and historic architecture in the heart of the old city, and on Tuesdays and Fridays, visit for the Street Food market.

The street food market is open every Tuesday and Friday, 11:00 to 14:30 on Wine Street, showcasing a plethora of cuisines.

It's lunch on-the-go all year round, with seasonal dishes also on offer.
