Six the Musical announced for Live from the Drive-In at Filton Airfield

A drive-in concert series will be staged at the former Airfield in Filton this summer, as part of a huge UK tour.
Live from the Drive-In will see some of the biggest names in UK music perform with full concert production. The series will also stage West End theatre, film screenings and family events.
Joining the lineup is Six the Musical, the 5-time Olivier Award-nominated production which tells the tale of King Henry VIII’s six wives - with a contemporary twist.
The smash-hit musical will enjoy a three-day run from Tuesday 25 August to Thursday 27 August, with a total of eight performances.

What is 'Six the Musical'?

A rebellious and intoxicating contemporary interpretation of historical events, Six is as much about the music as it is girl power, rejection of the patriarchy and survival.
The musical’s soundtrack has received serious critical acclaim, and the production has recieved rave reviews from the likes of The Evening Standard, The Times and Metro.
Six the Musical was due to run at the Bristol Hippodrome this year, but due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, has been rescheduled to 2021.

What is Live from the Drive-In?
Live from the Drive-In is a series of drive-in events taking place in 12 locations across the UK this summer.
Complete with concert-quality sound, full lighting and LED screens, each event will have space to host around 300 cars.
In Bristol, the series will run from the end of July until the end of September at the former Airfield in Filton, with up to six live events per week.
Acts already locked in to perform include Dizzee Rascal, The Zutons and Beverly Knight. A second wave of acts was announced earlier this week, including Boyzlife, Reef and and KT Tunstall.
As well as gigs, the series will also feature West End theatre (like Six the Musical), DJs, film screenings, comedy shows and family events.
At each event, attendees will be allocated a designated area to park, with space next to their vehicle where they can sit, stand and dance.
