If you’re looking to spruce up your in-home lighting and electricals, visit the award-winning Ablectrics on Gloucester Road. 

 

After several weeks of lockdown, Ablectrics Electrical & Lighting Showroom on Gloucester Road is back open for business.

 

The team are now trading from their shop front from 08:00 until 16:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00 until 12:30 on Saturdays.

 

Customers can now also book to browse the showroom - and to use the team’s specialist lighting design service - by appointment. Get in touch to book.

An independent, family-run business, Ablectrics was founded by local electrician Andy Besant in 1974. It’s one of Bristol’s oldest electrical wholesalers.

 

Almost four decades on, the business is now run by Andy’s son, Fraser.

A lighting design and wholesale specialist, Ablectrics have worked with local café chain Boston Tea Party, alongside Marco Pierre’s restaurants and Hilton Hotels.

 

They’ve also worked with clients who’ve appeared on Channel 4’s Grand Designs.

 

Ablectrics specialise in lighting design and help customers to restore, customize and sell genuine vintage lighting.

 

The team also make and sell their own lighting, which they refurbish and rewire right here in Bristol.

 

Ablectrics also stock a huge range of lighting and electrical goods, as well as in-home lighting automation, appliances and CCTV.

 

Can’t make it to the store? No problem. Ablectrics has a huge online store, packed with more than 20,000 products and the latest lighting for 2020.

 

The team also offer a range of delivery options, including Click & Collect and same-day local delivery service. Often, the Ablectrics team can be on-site with a local Bristol order within 60 minutes.
