Bring the fun and mystique of Bristol's leading comedy and magic theatre, Smoke and Mirrors, into your home.

It's been a while since we've been able to enjoy the city's buzzing events and entertainment scene.

And crucially, we're not clear when we'll get to visit Bristol's clubs, pubs, restaurants and bars again. It might not be anytime soon.

It's an obstacle which Bristol's leading entertainment hubs have tackled head-on; from upped delivery services to live-streamed gigs.

Now Bristol's boutique magic and comedy theatre, Smoke and Mirrors, has joined the fight with a live, virtual show: The Lockdown Comedy & Magic Show.

A jam-packed, one-hour performance, the interactive show will bring the fun of Saturday night at Smoke and Mirrors to your sofa, with the help of online video call service Zoom.

Presented by the bar's leading comedy magician and host, Mark Bennett, the show promises intricate tricks, jokes and the ability to play along at home.

It's happening this Saturday (30 May), and is kicking off at 20:15.

Tickets cost just £10 per household, and you can add extra devices for £5. Book your tickets here.

Situated in the heart of Bristol's theatre district, Smoke and Mirrors is a boutique magic and comedy theatre, which in normal times, hosts top comedians weekly.

Over the years, the bar has welcomed the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr and Jayde Adams.

More recently, Smoke and Mirrors has hosted award-winning Dutch comedian Micky Overman as well as Top 10 Ed Fringe 2019 comic Alex Kealy.
