Bristol Hippodrome to suspend performances until June
Posted on: 03 Apr 2020The theatre will remain closed until 31 May amidst the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
After the official closure of all Ambassador Theatre Group venues in the UK was announced in March, it was confirmed today that the Bristol Hippodrome would be suspending all performances until at least the end of May.
In a full statement released on social media, the Hippodrome team explained that they "will be contacting all affected customers next week to either help you exchange to a new performance of your choice or to send you a full credit voucher for your booking, including any fees."
The closure will disrupt a wide range of upcoming productions and performances, including The King and I, Les Miserables and the eagerly-awaited Bristol leg of Diversity's 2020 UK tour.
Ticket holders for any suspended shows will be contacted with a list of options regarding their bookings. The theatre team have asked for patience as they process a large number of orders, and will be working in chronological order to contact customers.
Customers with any specific queries can also fill out an online contact form, which the team will respond to as quickly as possible.
Be sure to head to the Bristol Hippodrome Facebook page for ongoing news and updates.
