A day to celebrate Irish culture around the world, St Patrick's Day is an eagerly-anticipated date in the calendar for many.
Parades filled with green, traditional cèilidhs, food and drink, it's a holiday that's fun to celebrate even if you're not of Irish descent.
So, here's six ways you can celebrate St Patrick's Day 2020, right here in Bristol.
Head to one of Bristol's Irish pubs: Seamus O'Donnell's
Nothing says St Patrick's Day in Bristol more than a pint at Seamus O'Donnell's.
The city's beloved Irish pub, you'll find Seamus O'Donnell's on St Nicholas Street, armed with traditional décor and the best Guinness in town.
On Tuesday 17 March, visit the pub to enjoy their Irish house band from 21:00. They'll be playing all the Irish songs you know and love.
Head to one of Bristol's Irish pubs: Shebeen
Looking for an Irish hideaway beyond the city centre? Look no further than Shebeen, located behind Clifton Down Station.
Bristol's intimate Irish sports bar, Shebeen comes equipped with cosy décor and fine Irish whisky (and Guinness, of course).
Don't forget – Shebeen has got a (heated!) outdoor seating area, too, making the outside just as homely as the inside.
Join the St Paddy's Day Parade
Every year, the Bristol Irish Society host a St Patrick's Day Parade, and this year will be no different.
Departing from Trinity Centre on Sunday 15 March at 1pm, the parade will journey through Old Market and Bristol Old City arriving on St Nicholas Street at 2pm where the parade will culminate with a vibrant street party outside St Nicholas Street's Irish pub, Seamus O'Donnells. Don't miss it!

Party into the night
Party in honour of St Paddy this year with a range of events happening across Bristol.
SWX will be throwing a St Patrick-themed party on Tuesday 17 March, where fancy dress will be strongly encouraged.
Expect DJs, Irish folk bands, St Paddy's-themed décor, giveaways and a photo booth. Tickets are on sale now: get yours here.

Celebrate a few days early at Fiddlers
Looking for a proper family-friendly Irish shindig? Celebrate a few days early with Fiddlers, on Friday 13 March.
The O'Malley School of Irish Dance is set to perform from 20:30, followed by a high-energy performance from The Fleigh O'Hara Live Band.
Expect to hear all the best Irish tunes that will be sure to get everyone dancing.

Try out some Irish craft beers at BrewDog Bristol
To celebrate St Patrick's Day, BrewDog Bristol will be showcasing some Irish craft beers on Tuesday 17 March.
They've also got a surprise instore from Irish brewing company White Hag. On the day, BrewDog will be open until 23:30.
