Based on the classic fairytale by Hans Christian Anderson, Bourne's thrilling adaptation has garnered widespread critical acclaim since its 2016 debut, winning two Olivier Awards and receiving rave reviews from The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Observer.

The dramatic story tells of a girl's dream to be the world's greatest dancer, torn between the two men who inspire her; ballet impresario Boris Lermontov, who spots her incredible talent, and composer Julian Craster, with whom she falls in love.

Set to the thunderous music of legendary composer Bernard Hermann, The Red Shoes is sure to be one of the Bristol Hippodrome's 2020 highlights.

To celebrate the return of Matthew Bourne's The Red Shoes, we're giving one lucky theatre goer the chance to get their hands on two tickets for the show at 19:30 on Tuesday 3 March.
