Posted on: 17 Jan 2020

Due to popular demand, the Redgrave Theatre has added a matinee performance for the Olivier Award-nominated duo Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens, otherwise known as Eric & Little Ern.

One for all the family, Eric & Ern is an unmissable homage to one of the world's greatest-ever comedy duos - Morecambe and Wise.

The show is coming to Bristol for one day, on Sunday 1 March. And due to overwhelming demand for their evening performance, an additional matinee performance has been added.

The additional matinee performance is taking place on Sunday 1 March at 15:30.

Crammed full of timeless comedy sketches, from Grieg's Piano Concerto and Mr Memory to the infamous paper bag trick, Eric & Ern's nostaglic show is certainly one of comedy's best.

A performance evoking memories of a time when whole families would huddle around the TV on Sunday evenings, Eric & Ern bring you Morecambe and Wise's best-loved routines, songs, sketches and, of course, a musical guest or two.

Critically-acclaimed and loved by audiences across the country, the show has received rave reviews from The Independent and renowned comedian Ben Elton, with the latter exclaiming: "I never thought I'd see Morecambe and Wise live - I think I just have!"

Bristol comedy fans simply cannot afford to miss this one, delivered in impeccable style by revered comedic duo Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens.
