Posted on: 16 Jan 2020

Starting fresh after calling time on their seminal in:Motion series, Motion has unveiled its first wave of events for the new decade.

With a reputation to uphold as Bristol's biggest club venue (as well as one of the best in the UK according to several DJ Mag polls), Motion is expected to constantly push the boundaries with its lineups, but the Avon Street venue has delivered once again with an extensive January to April programme.

Kicking off with the huge, multi-genre Beat Horizon lineup on 24 January featuring Talib Kweli, Goldie and Roni Size among others, the first run of 2020 invites an array of world-renowned artists to Bristol for a mix of parties and live sets.

London-based DJ HAAi is set to host contemporaries Peach, Optimo and Roi Perez at HAAi Curates on 25 January, whilst Hospitality invite Kings of the Rollers and London Elektricity to Motion for their first Bristol party of 2020 on Saturday 1 February.

Weeks later, Mall Grab returns to the Westcountry on Friday 21 February alongside Loods, Logic1000 and Salary Boy.

Standout live shows at The Marble Factory include hip-hop royalty The Game on Monday 3 February, experimental outfit Black Midi on Wednesday 12 February and eclectic R&B artist Princess Nokia on Saturday 21 March.

Motion January-April 2020.
