Want to purchase sustainably this year? Illustrate’s New Year Sale has landed

Posted on: 08 Jan 2020

With the onslaught of the Boxing Day sales, it’s easy to lose sight of ethical and sustainable products.

Want to stick to buying sustainably during the sales? You’re in luck. Illustrate’s New Year sale has landed.

Armed with a loyalty to sustainability, Illustrate is a collective of artists and creatives working to produce sustainable art and products.

The company has two shops in Bristol, on Park Street and inside The Arcade. Each location showcases and sells the collective’s creations; including artwork, clothing and accessories.

And right now, Illustrate is offering up to 50% off many of its products, both instore and online.

At the moment, you grab Illustrate products are a fraction of the usual cost; from t-shirts to phone cases.

But why should we buy from Illustrate?

The collective operates with a distinctive style, creating artwork which aims to reflect the beauty of wildlife and nature through intricate illustrations.

Abiding by a set of environmental commitments, the team creates products using recycled materials and sustainable, low-carbon production methods.

While Illustrate’s greeting cards, note and sketchbook are made from 100% recycled material, 10% of each water bottle sale goes to Frank Water. The collective also plans to operate a plastic-free supply chain by 2020.

Not only does Illustrate operate with an environmental focus, they are vocal supporters of Greta Thunberg. Last year, they published a blog post detailing their support for her activism.

So, what are you waiting for? Visit Illustrate's online shop, or catch them in-store. Visit their cosy home in The Arcade or head to their Park Street store.
