Top 10 Edinburgh Fringe 2019 comedian to play £3.50 Bristol show

Want to brighten up your January? One of the Edinburgh Fringe’s top comics of 2019, Alex Kealy, is coming to Bristol next week.

Included in both The Guardian’s and The Telegraph’s Top 10 Jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 lists, Alex Kealy is no doubt a rising star in the comedy world.

A favourite with Fringe critics, Kealy has been described as "ferociously quick-witted” (EdFringeReview) and "insightful" (Theatre Weekly). And now? Bristol has the chance to see him in the flesh.

Set to headline Smoke & Mirrors’ weekly Bunch of Japes comedy night, Kealy will perform in Bristol on Monday 13 January.

Even better, advance tickets cost just £3.50.

Why is it so cheap? The Bunch of Japes comedy night welcomes budding and established comics alike to test out brand-new material on Bristol’s comedy lovers.

In the past, the bar has seen the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr and Jayde Adams perform at a Bunch of Japes comedy night. (Yes, really!)

A chance to get ahead of the comedy curve, Bunch of Japes is a no-brainer for Bristol-based fans of stand-up.

To see Alex Kealy’s storming stand-up in Bristol at a fraction of the usual cost, bag yourself an advance ticket online.

Tucked away in the heart of Bristol's theatre district, Smoke and Mirrors is a boutique magic and comedy theatre, hosting primed entertainers weekly.
