The London Concert Orchestra

The London Concert Orchestra, which celebrates its 48th anniversary in 2020, is one of the UK’s most versatile orchestras.

The Orchestra performs in a large number of concerts each year, with repertoire ranging from opera and ballet to popular classics.

Over the years, the Orchestra has performed with composer Danny Elfman and other notable classical artists including Sir James Galway, Alison Balsom and Paul Lewis.

This time, however, the Orchestra will be performing your Proms favourites; including Rossini’s Largo al factotum from The Barber of Seville and Bizet’s Duet from The Pearl Fishers.

The performance will also see Strauss’ The Blue Danube Waltz and Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana.

With tickets flying out already, The Last of the Summer Proms promises a jubilant welcome into the summer season and an exciting way to begin another season of The Proms.

The Proms, or The BBC Proms, is an eight-week summer season of daily orchestral classical music concerts and other events held annually. Next summer, The Proms will run from 17 July until 12 September 2020.

A matinee performance, the Last of the Summer Proms at the Bristol Hippodrome will begin at 15:00 on Sunday 12 July 2020.

Tickets start from £22.50 and range up to £62.00. Stalls are selling quickly, so get your tickets soon.
