A Black Sabbath tribute band is coming to Bristol

Posted on: 17 Dec 2019

One for the diary: a Black Sabbath tribute band is coming to Bristol.

Hailed as the ultimate tribute to Sabbath, the aptly-named Supernaut will be coming to Bristol in the new year.

Supernaut specialise in all things Sabbath, covering the band in all its forms. Expect tracks from all Black Sabbath's studio albums, too.

They’ll be performing at The Gryphon, Bristol’s heavy metal pub, on Saturday 8 February 2020.

So, forget the January blues and get ready for February with a taste of Sabbath’s dizzying heavy metal. Admission is just £5, so it’s a bit of a no-brainer.

If you haven’t heard about The Gryphon, then where have you been? Bristol’s real ale and heavy metal pub, the Colston Street venue has been around for nearly a decade.

Inside, you’ll find an ever-changing roster of handpicked ales, plus a sweatbox gig space upstairs. With gigs happening throughout the week, all year round, The Gryphon is a unique purveyor of heavy, obscure sound in Bristol.

Earlier this year, we met up with John Ashby, The Gryphon’s landlord, to find out more. Read the full interview here.

Keep up to date with The Gryphon on Facebook.
