Bristol psych-pop outfit Cousin Kula announce November tour

Posted on: 17 Oct 2019

The renowned Bristol-based 6-piece will be touring the UK next month in support of their latest EP, Stroodles, which is available now.

Cousin Kula's 'Stroodles' EP is available to stream now.

Having initially come together as active members of Bristol's burgeoning jazz scene, Cousin Kula bonded over a shared love for an eclectic range of music, from pop and psych through to prog, disco, afrobeat and more.

Now living together and sharing a rehearsal room in their basement, the band have grown into one of the tightest groups on the local circuit, combining elements of their favourite genres into a contemporary and totally unique sound.

Their latest track, 'Invitation', released as part of Stroodles, is a slight departure from the band's psych-pop sound, introducing a funk bassline and altogether dancier style to their trademark vocals and instrumentation.

Kicking off in Falmouth, Cornwall on Wednesday 13th November, Cousin Kula's upcoming tour will take them to Liverpool, Stockton, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh, with their all-important hometown show falling on Wednesday 20th. See it at The Crofters Rights.
