Posted on: 11 Oct 2019

Your favourite DJ's favourite DJ is back in the Westcountry tonight for a hotly-anticipated set for the last-ever in:Motion series.

Mr Scruff at Motion // 11th October 2019.

Bristol music fans should be well aware of this already, but we feel it appropriate to give a last-minute reminder for the return of the all-encompassing Manchester DJ to Motion after his triumphant all-nighter in 2018.

Having been DJing since the mid-90s and producing for almost as long, they don't come much more committed than self-confessed music geek Mr Scruff when it comes to musical knowledge and passion for the craft.

Revered by passionate fans, labels, promoters and festivals around the world, an extended Mr Scruff set is unique for a number of reasons. It's an absolute must for any underground music fan.

As well as endearing himself to his home crowd in Manchester with a monthly Keep It Unreal residency at Band on the Wall, Mr Scruff has formed a connection with Bristol crowds over the years; known to weave plenty of dub, reggae and trip-hop tracks into his sets.

Having watched him play the same slot at in:Motion 2018 at the end of November last year, we can say with absolute certainty that this will be a highlight of what is expected to be the last-ever in:Motion series. Check out our full review of Mr Scruff's last Bristol all-nighter here.

With Bristol's own Worm Disco Club taking over Room 2 for the duration, this is one party we can absolutely guarantee will be one to remember.
