**THIS GIG HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS**

2019 is a special year for The Icicle Works. It’s been four decades since The Icicle Works got together and 35 years since the band’s debut album.

What’s more, 2019 also marks the 25th anniversary of frontman Ian Mcnabb’s mercury prize-nominated solo album Head Like A Rock.

With so much to celebrate, the band are heading out on tour: catch them at Thekla on Friday 1 November. Get your tickets here.

The Icicle Works

Formed in 1980’s Liverpool, The Icicle Works quickly became an integral part of the city’s neo-psychedelia scene along with the likes of Echo & the Bunnymen, Wah! And OMD.

Fronted by Ian Mcnabb - a prolific singer, songwriter and guitarist – The Icicle Works went on to score success in America with ‘Birds Fly’ besides a cult-like following in the U.K.

The Icicle gang has changed a bit over the years, but its current lineup (Ian McNabb, Roy Corkhill, Richard Naiff and Mathew Priest) has stayed the same since 2006. With 13 years of practice under their belts, we know this Bristol show is going to be something special.

Head to Thekla on Friday 1 November to see The Icicle Works play a 2.5-hour setlist their greatest hits, fan favourites, and a selection of Ian McNabb solo numbers.

Tickets on sale now! Get yours here. Thekla is located: The Grove, East Mud Dock, BS1 4RB.
