Next Spring, one of the world’s most popular musicals is coming to the Bristol Hippodrome.

The production will run at the Bristol Hippodrome between Tuesday 7 April to Saturday 9 May 2020. Photo: Matthew MurphyBased on the 1862 novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables is the story of French peasant Jean Valjean and his desire for redemption.

 

Since the novel’s release, the story has been adapted for the stage and the big screen and has been enjoyed by over 120 million people worldwide. You might have seen the three-time Oscar-winning film featuring Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman back in 2012... Anne Hathaway performed in the 2012 filmCreated by renowned British theatrical producer Cameron Mackintosh, the upcoming production of Les Misérables first toured the U.K. in 2009.

 

The tour sold out a two-month run at London’s Barbican Centre before moving to the West End.
