Students: get a FREE t-shirt and poster with your pint at Steam

Posted on: 19 Sep 2019

If you’re a University of Bristol student and you haven’t heard of Steam, then where have you been?

Steam is a cosy beer hall at Clifton Down station. Armed with a cosy (and heated!) outdoor area, the pub has become a student stomping ground – and with good reason.

A relaxed, quirky space, the hall is a hotspot for group pub outings and pre-night out drinks. And this year? It’ll be no different.

To welcome their new recruits, Steam is giving away a free t-shirt and poster to students when they buy a Rolling Apple cider or a Steambrew beer. A good way to decorate that sad-looking, Stoke Bishop room, right? Yeah, we've been there.

To get yours, grab a ticket (for the price of a pint) and present it with a valid student ID at the bar. Be quick, though, the offer is only valid between Monday 23 September to Sunday 6 October!

So, what’s all the fuss about with Steam? Bottomless brunches on Saturdays, DJs all-night-long on Sundays and La Yaya tapas throughout the week; Steam isn’t just a beer hall. You can also catch live sport on their big screens or take part in their weekly pub quiz on Thursdays.

Located just behind Clifton Down station, Steam has got a prime location, too. A stone's throw away from the U1 bus stop, a few minutes from student house-hotspot, Redland: it's no wonder that Steam has become a student favourite.

To keep up with Steam's latest student offers and events, find them on social media.
