Bristol Bears to face Westcountry rivals Gloucester in Premiership Rugby Cup this month
Posted on: 12 Sep 2019Bristol Bears have been drawn against Westcountry rivals Gloucester Rugby in the second round of fixtures of the 2019/20 Premiership Rugby Cup. Tickets for the clash at Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday 27th September are on sale now via the link below.

Honours are even in the recent history of this fixture as each side won their respective home legs in the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season, however Gloucester edged the bragging rights, finishing third in the table while Bristol struggled and ended the season in 9th.
Bristol, who narrowly avoided a relegation battle in the last campaign, will use their upcoming Rugby Cup fixtures as a warmup for the start of the regular season, a huge home match against bitter rivals Bath Rugby on 18th October.
Gloucester, meanwhile, will be hoping to make good progress in this season's Rugby Cup and build on their strong season in 2018/19, potentially mounting a challenge at the top of the Premiership.
The Bears' Cup campaign kicks off a week prior to their clash with Gloucester, as they travel to London to face Harlequins on Friday 20th September. From there their Cup run will see London Irish visit Ashton Gate on Sunday 6th October before the Bears travel South to come up against last season's Gallagher Premiership champions, Exeter Chiefs, on Saturday 12th October.
