Posted on: 11 Sep 2019

Ah, Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Especially if you get things sorted early.

And what better way to get the kids excited for Christmas than a trip to meet Father Christmas himself?! (A great way to find out what they really want, too.)

Almondsbury Garden Centre’s beloved Christmas Grotto is back for 2019 and bookings are open now.

Every year, slots fill faster than the elves can wrap presents, so get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.

Santa's Grotto 2019

Between November 30 and December 24, join Santa at his workshop for an immersive Christmas experience.

Travel through secret tunnels, watch the elves hard at work and get a sneak peek inside Santa's secret vault.

You’ll also get the chance to meet up with Mrs Claus, who will be on hand to ensure every Grotto visitor gets a parting gift and family photo.

Light-up installations, detailed scenery and interactive play with actors in fantastic costumes: this is certainly no ordinary Grotto experience.

Last year, we loved visiting the Grotto. One reviewer said: “The Almondsbury elves were energetic, charismatic and joyful throughout.” Top marks!

The Grotto will be open every weekend from 30 November to 24 December, with entry priced at £5 for adults, £15 for children and £10 for babies. Booking is essential; head to the booking page to check the latest availability.

If you haven't been to Almondsbury Garden Centre before, rest assured there’s plenty more to do and see when you visit.

Why not add to the Christmas décor collection with the Centre’s annual Christmas market?

Or why not visit their dedicated restaurant, The Kitchen? With stunning views over the Garden Centre and surrounding hillsides, it’s the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat after a meeting with Santa.
