Cigarettes After Sex are coming to Bristol this Spring

Ambient pop outfit Cigarettes After Sex will play the O2 Academy on Monday 23 March in support their all-new second album, Cry.

The 9-track record, released back in October via Los Angeles' Partisan Records, features the critically-acclaimed single ‘Heavenly’; an oozy, surf-tinged snapshot of the band’s unique style.

‘Heavenly' is out now

Having had a few months to get to grips with the new material, fans haven't got long to wait before the Texan four-piece kick off the UK leg of their 2020 tour, starting off in Bristol before going on to London, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Liverpool.

Responsible for 2012’s dream-pop anthem ‘Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby’, Cigarettes After Sex have since seen over half a million sales worldwide. Known for their ethereal sound, the band describe their own sound as "peaceful" and "gentle".

With just a few UK dates locked in before the tour takes Cigarettes After Sex across Europe, tickets are in high demand. Their European run will take them through Holland, Germany, France and across Scandinavia, before summer dates at Primavera Sound and Rock in Roma.

Limited numbers for the opening night at Bristol's O2 Academy on Monday 23 March are still available, but are expected to sell out well in advance of the date. Get yours here while you still can.
