The Twang's new single, Dream, is out now.

Having spent over a decade defying expectation and bringing their sound to crowds up and down the country, Brummie rockers The Twang continue to win fans all over with their electric live shows.

Made up of vocalist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland and drummer Ash Sheehan, The Twang have released four full studio albums to date and are have been hard at work making the magic happen once more in 2019.

With their eagerly-awaited fifth studio album still in the works, the band recently released 'Dream', the second single taken from the upcoming record. Contrast to the first single release, 'Everytime', 'Dream' takes a turn towards darker themes and more experimental lyrical content.

"I just started writing down all my dreams (ones I woke up remembering) as like everyone’s, my dreams are weird as fuck especially during a night in the spare room when I’ve been misbehaving," Phil says. "Jon came up with that insane bassline and I picked lines from my morning ramblings and spat um over the top.  That’s about the size of it."

As part of the tour, the two iconic British outfits will be performing together across the country, before closing with a return to their Birmingham hometown for a show at the city's O2 Institute. Don't miss them in Bristol as they play live at the O2 Academy on Wednesday 18th December.

Tickets for The Twang and Shed Seven live at Bristol's O2 Academy on Wednesday 18th December are on sale now and can be found here. For more information or to find out what else is coming up at the O2 Academy in 2019, check out their website.
