Gloucestershire Cricket all-rounder Graeme van Buuren has signed a new 12-month contract until the end of the 2020 season.

Since joining in April 2016 he has become a fan favourite and a regular starter in the first team. Van Buuren has played in all competitions for the Shire this season.

In the Royal London One-Day Cup he averaged 30 runs with the bat and took four wickets in the six matches he played.

Speaking on his contract extension, the South African said: “I’m very excited to be with the lads for another year, I have loved it here since joining the Club in 2016. My family and I have made lifelong friends and I can’t wait to keep that going. We are playing fantastic cricket at the moment, hopefully we can end the season with success."

Gloucestershire Head Coach Richard Dawson added: “It’s great that Graeme has extended his contract with the Club. He’s been an important member of the squad on and off the pitch for a number of years and we look forward to this continuing.”
