After the annual Bristol Hippodrome August shutdown it's almost time once again to head into the headline act of the year, then a couple more shows followed by pantomime season. This year's main attraction is of course The Lion King which is the top earning title in box office history for both stage productions and films, surpassing the record previously held by The Phantom of the Opera. The Lion King musical has grossed over $8 Billion since it's debut in 2007.

Disney's The Lion King

Saturday 7 September to Saturday 23 November 2019

This is one to get excited about: Disney’s The Lion King is returning to The Bristol Hippodrome to celebrate 20 years on the London stage!  Shows are at 7.30pm Tuesday through Saturday with matinees every Wednesday, Saturday (not 7th Sept) and Sunday at 2.30pm.

A classic Disney tale: The Lion King tells the story of young Simba, an adorable lion cub, and his epic adventures as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood. But it’s the stage which truly brings this heartwarming animation to life, and the production’s longstanding success pays tribute to this.

This is selling VERY fast so grab your tickets while still available - best availability is midweek in October and November.
