Want to do something a bit different with your day off? Now’s your chance to watch Bristol’s finest glassmakers in action, completely free of charge. 

 

Bristol’s glassmaking tradition stretches back centuries, but Bristol Blue Glass has been keeping it alive since 1988.

Bristol Blue Glass welcomes visitors

With years of experience, the team have mastered the skills required to blow glass by hand to create the company’s distinct range of bespoke products. Now Bristol has the chance to take a peek inside their studios. 

 

Situated on Bath Road, Arnos Vale, the Bristol Blue Glass studio is open six days a week. They're inviting visitors to watch their glassmakers at work, free of charge.


Guests can ask glassmakers questions while they work and there's no need to book ahead if you're group is under 10 people. 

Blow your own bauble at Bristol Blue Glass

Not only that, but visitors can get a feel for the longstanding tradition by taking part in the bauble blowing themselves!

 

This summer, the team will offer guests the chance to blow their very own Bristol Blue Glass baubles for just £20 when they quote “School Holidays Bauble offer" while booking. 

 

One of the team's glassmakers provides step-by-step instructions so budding glassmakers can create something they can call their own. It’s a summer holiday activity no-brainer!
