AfroFest is organised this year by Afrobeats Fridays.

Showcasing the very best of African culture through music, art, fashion, dance and more, AfroFest is set to be one of the most vibrant Bristol parties of the summer this year at the beginning of August.

The range of live music is certainly one of the biggest draws of the day-long outdoor party, with performances locked in from Afro B, Congolese band African Ngwasuma, A-Star (Kupa Dance), Spice The Rhythm, Pariah, Przy, H.A.L.O and more, as well as DJ sets into the evening from some of Bristol and London's favourite selectors, including DJ Neyo, DJ Wally, Dancehall Generals, DJ Starzy, DJ Ngaio and many more.

Not only that, but AfroFest will be home to a family-friendly area with a bouncy castle, face painting, games and a cultural showcase, and guests will also be treated to performances and exhibitions from local dancers and fashion designers.

Taking place on Saturday 3rd August from 12pm-9pm at Trinity Centre, tickets for AfroFest are on sale now, available on second release at £18 per person. There are also special prices for kids, with 6-11-year-olds' tickets available at just £5 each and FREE entry for under-5s. If you're an artist, dancer or you're keen to volunteer at AfroFest, contact the team via email to find out how you can become a part of the event.
