An Evening with Alice Roberts at The Bristol Hotel on Monday 13th May 2019

Posted on: 08 May 2019

Popular academic, broadcaster and evolutionary biologist Dr Alice Walker will share her love and passion for engaging people with all things science-related in a special talk at The Bristol Hotel on Monday 13th May 2019.

**If you are look for pre talk dinner and post event drinks we highly recommend The Prince Street Social, just across the road from the hotel**

Also an author, television presenter and biological anthropologist (yep, she has many strings to her bow), her vigour and voraciousness for getting people to learn more about the numinous wonders of science and helping people achieve their educational potential are probably some of her lesser-known attributes.
But here it is. Or more specifically, here she is. Once a regular co-presenter of BBC's Coast and learned presenter of a whole slew of acclaimed science documentary programmes, she'll be in Bristol for a chat with radio/TV presenter and specialist in natural history and archaeological programmes, Miranda Krestovnikoff.

It's all lined up to be a swanky, stimulating affair too. Drinks will greet you on arrival after which Krestovnikoff will lead the enlightening conversation with Dr Roberts, who will dish out the behind-the-scenes titbits of her TV work. They'll also be joined on stage by local charities.
Drinks reception will be at 6.30pm, the conversation between Alice Roberts and Miranda Krestovnikoff from 7pm to 8pm, and this will be followed by more drinks and supper, with everything coming to a close around the 9pm mark.

An Annual Philanthropy Event, you can find more - as well as nabbing tickets at £25 each - here.

The Bristol Hotel is located at Prince Street, Bristol, BS1 4QF.
