True Strays at Crofters Rights, Bristol.

Having already played more than twenty festivals across the UK and made their European festival debut at La Truite Magique in Belgium, True Strays are finally starting to establish themselves on the live circuit. Their blues-fuelled rock and roll sound forms a joyous live show full of huge bass-driven riffs and a howling resonator guitar, backed by triumphant drums and a soaring Hammond organ.

The Bristol-born quartet have recently recorded live sessions with Sofar Sounds and BBC Introducing in the West, and recently took their show on the road alongside renowned Amsterdam blues band My Baby. Their 2019 tour will see them embark on an exhaustive run of 24 shows across the country between the beginning of April and the end of August, culminating in a performance at the celebrated Shambala festival.

Their influences span an extended history of music, from the delta blues of the 40s and 50s through the British Invasion and Psych Rock of the 60s and 70s, Southern Rock and modern punk, rock and blues. Drawing from greats like Muddy Waters, Hendrix and Fleetwood Mac, and paying close attention to their more modern contemporaries in Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age and fellow Bristol rockers IDLES, True Strays are fast becoming one of the most exciting acts on the UK blues scene. Don't miss them in Bristol this weekend.

Tickets for True Strays live at the Crofters Rights are on sale now and can be found here. For more information on the band or to see what else is coming up at the Crofters Rights, check out the band's Facebook page or the Crofters Rights website.
