Nothing beats a spot of cool jazz on a chilled Sunday night, and popular ensemble Ruby Jazz Swing Band will be performing its toe-tapping tunes and swing classics at Bristol's The Blue Lagoon on Sunday 28th April 2019.

Ruby Jazz Band at Blue Lagoon Bristol

Championing swing favourites from the 30s and 40s alongside 1920s standards, ballads, Latin bossas and blues, the group regularly play to packed-out crowds on the Bristol music circuit - and it's no small wonder; with impeccable musicianship, snazzy sartorial stylings and exuding a vibe of infectious, effortless cool, this is one of the hottest swing bands in town.

The Blue Lagoon needs little if any introduction to the city's revelers; a firm favourite venue on Gloucester Road with a funky interior and large heated outside area where you can sip you coffee or cider and watch the world go by. Decent grub, a good range of beverages (including 241 cocktail offers from Monday to Thursday), and plenty of live music in the evenings ensure it's a popular haunt for the city's fun-seekers.

Ruby Jazz Swing Band play the tunes between 8.30pm and 10.30pm. Entry is free. For more info on the uber-talented ensemble have a look here and for the lowdown on The Blue Lagoon have a gander here.
