To celebrate the announcement of an extra matinee performance of the highly-anticipated Matilda The Musical at The Bristol Hippodrome, The Royal Shakespeare Company has partnered with Cabot Circus for a very special installation.
The monstrous Miss Trunchball’s chair, which features centre-stage in the critically-acclaimed musical, took over 200 hours to make. Now, for a limited time, the iconic creation will be displayed on Brigstowe Street in Cabot Circus from Tuesday 16 April to Tuesday 30 April. We love a half-term treat.
Accompanying the installation comes confirmation of an extra date for Matilda The Musical. To counteract phenomenally high-demand, tickets for an additional matinee show on Friday 31 May have just gone on sale! Grab one here.
The Hippodrome will be home to Matilda The Musical between May 7 and June 8 2019. There’s limited tickets available throughout the residency, but as ever, don’t them to hang around for long. You can browse ticket availability here.
